Racial equity and anti-racism in the workplace are meant to stop the harm being done to employees and attempt to repair the harm done. Biases need to be confronted and awareness of how our socialization has impacted our world views needs to be significantly improved.
The goal is to dismantle oppressive structures within the workspace, encourage and promote a culture of cultural safety and accountability. Admitting and understanding that being wrong is a necessary part of learning and unlearning, is essential in this work. Small business owners in small and rural communities in Ontario need added support when it comes to creating more inclusive workspaces and creating a culturally safe and aware environment for Black, Indigenous, and Racialized employees. I want to help you!
I will coach, guide, and support business owners, employers, managers, decision-makers, and human resources professionals looking to affect real change in their places of employment by offering action planning to get started and follow-up services until goals are met.

Stacey Ottley founded SIO Consulting in November 2021 after having co-founded and served as the President of CUREA - Coalition for Unity Respect Equity/Equality for All, a non-profit organization whose mandate is to address systemic racism.
Ms. Ottley has a bachelor's and master's degree in Sociology and has an extensive history of dedication to community engagement.
